Dig in and explore the gardens of Calvert Marine Museum. Learn about the parts of a plant when we plant seeds and design our own gardens. Grow your knowledge of pollination while participating in a pollinator race. Observe “breathing” leaves, soil composition, and insect friends that visit our gardens. Record your findings in your nature notebook complete with your own botanical illustrations. Throughout camp, collaborate with fellow future scientists in community projects like painting a rain barrel and assisting a master gardener in the CMM children’s garden.
