Join us for the Gingerbread Lighthouse Challenge at the Calvert Marine Museum!
This festive community event invites you to craft your own gingerbread lighthouse at home using an array of candies, baked goods, and your creativity. The entry fee is $10 per lighthouse. Showcase your creation by noon on December 13, 2024 at the museum!

What you need to know:

• Kits and Supplies: Participants must supply their own gingerbread and edible decorations. While you can create your lighthouse using just gingerbread, you're welcome to add other edible elements to enhance your scene—such as water, a dock, or animals—as long as everything is made of edible materials!
• Voting: Voting will take place at the museum over the weekend, and visitors can cast their votes for their favorite creations. Note: Those submitting entries can vote, but not for their own lighthouse.
• Winners will be announced at noon on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Exciting prizes await, including gift cards to the Museum Store for the top winners!
